Filipino Food for Your Labor Day Cookout

Skip the grill this Labor Day. Anne's cooks the Filipino spread so the host actually gets to sit down. West Valley pickup, weekend delivery considered.

Filipino Food for Your Labor Day Cookout

Labor Day is the last big salu-salo of summer, the last long weekend before school and work swallow everyone’s calendar again. It is also, in Arizona, one of the worst weekends of the year to be standing over a grill.

So here is my offer: let me cook, and you host.

Why Filipino food works for a Labor Day crowd

A Filipino spread holds up well at a backyard party. The trays travel fine, most of the food is still good at room temperature an hour into the party, and there is something on the table for every kind of eater, from the picky nephew to the tito who wants a full plate of rice.

An easy Labor Day spread

If you want a simple menu that always works, I would start here:

That covers a crowd without turning your kitchen into a second job. If you have more guests, the packages scale it up cleanly.

Order fresh, or get it early

You can order it fresh for pickup the morning of your party, or pick it up a day ahead and reheat. If you go the early route, my reheating guide walks through keeping each tray at its best.

Last call for Labor Day weekend

Labor Day fills up fast, so text me sooner rather than later. Text Anne at 602-345-1201 with your date and headcount and I will tell you what fits. A 50% deposit locks in your date, and the rest is due at pickup or delivery.
