Filipino Buffet Near Me: How to Get a Full Party Spread in the West Valley

Searching for a Filipino buffet near you? Here is how Anne's fresh party trays and packages give your West Valley event a full buffet-style spread.

When people search for a Filipino buffet near them, they are usually picturing the same thing: the whole handa, a long table with rice, pancit, lumpia, and a few warm entrees that guests can walk down and fill a plate from. They want that spread for a party, and they do not want to cook it themselves.

Here is how that works with Anne’s Filipino Catering, and what to think about before you order.

What kind of buffet are you picturing?

There are really two versions of a catered buffet. One is a staffed setup, where a company brings servers, chafing dishes, and warmers and runs the line for you. The other is a drop-off buffet, where the food arrives fresh in party trays and you set it out on your own table.

Anne’s is the second kind. I cook everything fresh for your order, you pick it up in Avondale or I deliver it on the weekend when the date and distance work, and you arrange the trays into a buffet spread at home. It keeps the price down and it means the food is made close to when your guests actually eat.

What goes on a Filipino buffet table?

A spread that feels complete usually has four parts working together:

You can build that from the full menu piece by piece, but most people find it easier to start from a package, since each one already balances rice, pancit, lumpia, and entrees for a set headcount.

How much food for a buffet?

For a buffet where guests serve themselves, plan a little more generously than a plated meal, because people take a bit of everything. As a rough guide, the packages are built for 8 to 12 guests up to 40 to 60. If your family really loves lumpia or pancit, add extra pieces or an extra half tray so the popular trays do not run out first. With Filipino parties there is usually pabaon too, food guests take home, so a little extra is never wasted.
